This is a great discussion of how religion can erode scientific progress, among other things. The first video is the meat of the lecture, but Tyson's full remarks are divided between the three videos below. He makes a lot a sense, and the topic is certainly germane at a time when so many scientific issues are being debated in the course of the President election campaign.
